Complete Tooth Replacement, Designed for You
Full dentures replace all teeth on the upper arch, lower arch, or both. Modern full dentures are a world apart from old-style prosthetics — today’s materials and digital design technology produce dentures that look remarkably natural and fit far more comfortably.
At Island Dental, your prosthodontist and in-house lab technician collaborate directly on every case. You select the tooth size, shape, shade, and texture. We do a try-in, make adjustments, and finalize — all without leaving the building.

Full Denture FAQs
Full denture costs vary based on material quality and customization level. We provide a complete cost breakdown at your free consultation with no pressure. Insurance typically covers a portion, and we offer 0% financing through CareCredit, HFD, Cherry, Icredit works, Happen Bank and others subject to credit approval.
With proper care, full dentures typically last 5–10 years before needing replacement. Your jawbone changes shape over time, which affects fit. Regular check-ups and periodic relines help maintain comfort and extend their lifespan.
Upper dentures create suction against the palate, which provides good retention. Lower dentures rely on the ridge shape and muscle control. A well-made, precisely fitted denture from our in-house lab stays in place without adhesive for most patients. If you want maximum stability, consider implant-supported options.
Upper dentures cover the palate and generally have excellent retention through suction. Lower dentures sit on the ridge and can be less stable because the tongue displaces them. Many patients find lower dentures benefit most from implant support.
Most patients adjust to new full dentures within 1–2 weeks. Speaking and eating feel more natural as your muscles adapt. We include follow-up adjustment appointments to fine-tune the fit during this period.
