Endodontic Referrals
You might also be referred to an endodontic specialist depending on what your symptoms are. They are dentists who specialize in structures located inside of the tooth, like tooth pulp. Like the periodontist, there is an endondontic specialist located in our same office.
There are numerous reasons why you might be referred to an endodontist. The most common symptoms of endodontic issues include gum inflammation, discoloration of teeth, and teeth sensitive to cold and hot temperatures.
They may be symptoms of problems that are even larger that endodontic specialists deal with on a regular basis. These symptoms might results from minor tooth injuries, tooth fractures, or bacterial infections. Endodontic specialists perform root canals on a regular basis in order to get rid of the root cause of the issues.
Other Dental Services
As might have guessed, we have several highly qualified general dentists at our office. These dentists perform examinations, provide treatments, and educate patients on the correct dental care. If during a checkup there are any warning signs detected, our general dentists will make referrals to endodontic specialists or periodontists.
We also employ several cosmetic dentists. There is no referral necessary for a visit.
