We have all the dental professionals available at our office and offer all dental services that you need at one location. The following are some of the main services that we offer.
Gum disease, or periodontal disease, is a serious issue that impacts millions of individuals all over the world. It is one of the main causes of too loss and results in many individuals living in chronic pain. It is also true that not many people are aware of what their problem is being caused by and don’t understand that they need a periodontist to help them.
A periodontist is a type of dentist specializing in gum disease. The dental implant is one of the procedures that they most commonly perform. Anyone who suffers from gum disease symptoms is advised to go see a periodontist. Although, it is usually best to see your general dentist and discuss your symptoms first, and then, if necessary, the periodontist will make a referral to a periodontist for you.
Our office provides both of these services at the same office. You can see your general dentist and then get a referral for the periodontist working in the same building. That will save you from having to hunt down a specialist and receive the treatment that you need instead.
You might also be referred to an endodontic specialist depending on what your symptoms are. They are dentists who specialize in structures located inside of the tooth, like tooth pulp. Like the periodontist, there is an endondontic specialist located in our same office.
There are numerous reasons why you might be referred to an endodontist. The most common symptoms of endodontic issues include gum inflammation, discoloration of teeth, and teeth sensitive to cold and hot temperatures.
They may be symptoms of problems that are even larger that endodontic specialists deal with on a regular basis. These symptoms might results from minor tooth injuries, tooth fractures, or bacterial infections. Endodontic specialists perform root canals on a regular basis in order to get rid of the root cause of the issues.
Other Dental Services
As might have guessed, we have several highly qualified general dentists at our office. These dentists perform examinations, provide treatments, and educate patients on the correct dental care. If during a checkup there are any warning signs detected, our general dentists will make referrals to endodontic specialists or periodontists.
We also employ several cosmetic dentists. There is no referral necessary for a visit. Their goal is to improve your smile through procedures such as smile sculpting, teeth whitening, veneers, and dentures. All of the dental professionals discussed here can be found at our local dental office and all under one roof.
